Battle of the Planet: Bernard Hopkins vs Joe Calzaghe - a World Light Heavyweight Championship fight between the 43-year-old Bernard Hopkins and 35-year-old Joe Calzaghe. The championship fight will be held on Planet Hollywood Ring at the Thomas and Mack Center. This will be the first encounter for the two boxing superstars.
Bernard Hopkins has a record of (43-4-1, 32 KO's) while Joe Cazaghe, the undefeated "Pride of Wales" has a record of (44-0, 32 KO's). This would be a great fight. This is Hopkins third fight into the light heavyweight ring match up after becoming a top fighter in the middleweight class. And this is the first fight of Cazaghe in the US and third fight outside of the United Kingdom.
